A Free Vendor Village Workshop

Sell Before You Set Up

How to walk away from your next event actually owning the customers you met — instead of watching them disappear into the parking lot.

Monday, August 17 · 7:00 PM CT / 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT · Live on Zoom · 10 seats

Free. Registration required. No replay pitch, no upsell at the end.

You paid the booth fee. You loaded the car. You stood there all day.

And that woman who tried your sample and said "oh my God, this is so good"... she bought two, told you she'd be back, and walked into the parking lot.

You never got her name.

That's not a slow market. That's a leak.

Every event, you pay to meet people. And every event, you let them go. Not because you don't care — because nobody ever showed you what to do in that 30 seconds while they're standing right there with their wallet already out.

That's the whole workshop.

You're not leaving with notes. You're leaving with it built.

This is a working session. Bring a laptop or your phone. By the time we're done, these exist:

1

A live sign-up form

Two fields. Nothing complicated. Working and tested before you log off.

2

Your own QR code

Scannable, tested on your own phone, ready to print for your table.

3

A table sign that doesn't look like homework

What it should say, how big it needs to be, and where on your table it actually gets seen.

4

Your first message, already written

The part everybody gets stuck on. You'll leave with the actual words, ready to send.

How long this really takes. The whole process runs about 45 minutes to an hour. I'm holding two hours so nobody gets rushed and everybody leaves with it finished. If we're done early, we're done early — I'm not going to keep you.

This is for you if:

  • You already sell something people buy
  • You do markets, pop-ups, festivals, or craft shows
  • You're tired of the money stopping when the table folds
  • You've got customers who come back — you just don't have their names

This isn't for you yet if:

  • You're still deciding what you want to make
  • You haven't sold to anyone yet
  • You're looking for a course to watch instead of an hour to work

If that second list is you, no hard feelings — come back when you've got something people are already buying. I'll still be here.

Roxie, founder of Vendor Village, smiling in a warm indoor setting

I'm Roxie. I cook, I sell, and I've paid the booth fee.

I run Vendor Village out of Minneapolis, MN, and I built it because I got tired of watching good vendors pay $350 for a table, work a twelve-hour day, and go home with less than they came with. Not because their food isn't good. Because nobody ever showed them how to keep the people they already met.

I'm not going to sell you anything on Monday. I'm going to help you build one thing. If you want more after that, you know where to find me.

Save Your Seat

Monday, August 17
7:00 PM CT / 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT
Ten seats. I keep it small so I can actually help everybody.

Your join link comes straight from Zoom as soon as you register. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.

If it helped.

This workshop is free and it's staying free. If you walk away with something that makes you money, and you feel moved to throw a little something in the jar, the jar is here. If not, that's completely fine — I'd rather you use what you learned.
